We held our 2009 Drive for Dreams Golf Classic and Awards Dinner on May 18, 2009 at The Golf Club at Newcastle. Thank you to everyone who sponsored, attended and donated to our event. It was a great day of golf and fun, followed by an evening Awards Dinner and Auction, all to support vital services supporting the Bellevue Community.

We were joined by many other professional atheletes too, including your favorite former Seattle Mariners, Bill Haselman, Jeff Nelson, former NBL player Jim Nettles and former NHL player Jamie Huscroft. Our sports celebrities were out on the course all day and then joined everyone for a high energy awards dinner and auction. Donations of professional sports experiences and memorabilia, including signed footballs, added a lot of excitement during our live auction.

Overlake Service League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supporting struggling families and at-risk school children since 1911. All proceeds from the 2009 Drive for Dreams will support our Focus on Youth programs, which include:

• Clothes for Kids/Caring for Youth - Back to School Clothing
• Breaktime/Mealtime - Nutritious Food for School Breaks
• Scholastic Needs - Tutoring & Summer School
• Enrichment - Summer Activities, Sports & Lessons
